Everything a number needs to become a habit
One score a day is easy to ignore. A chart, a badge and a Monday email are hard to.
A snapshot every morning
One reading per domain per day, kept forever. Nothing to install, nothing to remember, no crawler pointed at your server.
History, not just a number
A full line chart plus 7 and 30 day deltas, so you can see whether last month actually moved anything.
A badge that links back
A live SVG that renders your current score, cached at the edge. The embed snippet is a plain dofollow link, so it earns authority while it reports it.
A public page per domain
Every tracked domain gets an indexable page with its scores, chart and embed snippet. Included on every plan, permanent, and yours to share.
Email when it matters
A note when your score crosses another multiple of five, and one Monday digest with every domain and its weekly change. Both are opt-out.
More than one provider
Ahrefs Domain Rating first, with Open PageRank and Moz Domain Authority behind it — all on one 0 to 100 scale, and whichever score exists is shown, so a missing provider never reads as a zero.
A badge that works while you sleep
Embed the live badge and it renders your current score on every page view. The snippet links back to your public BadgerDR page with a real dofollow link, so the badge earns authority while it reports it.

Add your domain
Create an account with an email and a password, then paste a hostname. No DNS records, no script tag, no verification dance.
The badger digs daily
Every morning at 05:00 UTC we snapshot your Ahrefs Domain Rating and Open PageRank score and, where quota allows, your Moz Domain Authority.
Watch the line move
Charts, 7 and 30 day deltas, and milestone emails whenever your score crosses another multiple of five.
Wear the badge
Every domain gets a live SVG badge and a public page. Both are included on every plan, and both are permanent.
Questions, answered straight
The short version: it is free, it is daily, and you install nothing.
What is domain authority?
Domain authority is a third-party estimate of how much a whole domain is trusted, scored roughly 0 to 100 from its backlink profile. It is not a Google ranking factor and no search engine publishes one. It is useful as a trend line for your own site, which is exactly what BadgerDR records.
Is BadgerDR free?
Yes. Five domains per account, daily snapshots, charts, the public page and the badge all cost nothing, and there is no card to enter.
Which score does BadgerDR track?
Ahrefs Domain Rating is the primary score, shown as Domain Rating by Ahrefs wherever it appears. Open PageRank and Moz Domain Authority are recorded alongside it as independent readings, all on a 0 to 100 scale, and whichever score exists is shown when a provider has no entry for a domain yet.
How often is my score updated?
Ahrefs Domain Rating and Open PageRank are read every morning at 05:00 UTC. Moz has a much smaller free quota, so it is sampled weekly on Mondays and once immediately when you add a domain that has never been scored.
Why does my domain have no score yet?
A young or lightly linked domain can be absent from a provider index until its crawler picks the domain up. BadgerDR records an absent reading as absent, never as a zero, re-checks every provider each morning, and shows whichever score exists first.
Do I have to install anything on my site?
No. There is no script tag, no DNS record and no ownership check. You can add any hostname, including one you do not own.
Does the badge slow my site down?
No. It is a single SVG served from Cloudflare edge cache, a couple of kilobytes, with no JavaScript and no third-party tracking.
What happens if I delete my account?
Your account, your domains and their recorded history are deleted with it, and the public page and badge for those domains stop resolving.
Your score moved this week. Did you see it?
Add your domain now and BadgerDR starts the record tomorrow at 05:00 UTC. The chart only gets more interesting from here.
